This year’s Women’s History Month is so Soroptimist. The theme, “Moving Forward Together,” spotlights “women educating and inspiring generations.” This theme is meant to highlight and support women who have dedicated their lives to education, mentorship and leadership to shape the minds and futures of all generations.

The Walk for Women is a worldwide event during the month of March to celebrate Women’s History Month and International Women’s Day (March 8). Everyone can participate—just get moving and share your #WhyIWalk! Help us spread awareness about the stories, struggles, and strengths of women!

I bought a Walk for Women t-shirt which supports LiveYourDream.org and Soroptimist’s programs that empower women and girls which I will wear many times when I walk over 60 miles this month.
International Women’s Day is right around the corner, Saturday, March 8th. This year’s theme, “For ALL women and girls: Rights. Equality.
March is also a very important month for Soroptimist Huntington Beach. It is in March, Saturday, March 29, to be exact, that we will hold our annual Murder Mystery Fundraiser. Buy your tickets before March 17 and save! I guarantee you will be engaged and have a roaring good time but….watch out, you may be sitting next to the murderer!
