Soroptimist, an international organization of women working as one to improve the lives of women and girls globally.
Soroptimist members assist under-served women and girls by giving them the resources to create positive change—for themselves, their families, their communities and the world. In more than 120 countries and territories throughout the world, almost 100,000 Soroptimist members help women and girls live their dreams each and every day.
Soroptimist International Huntington Beach
Soroptimist International of Huntington Beach (SIHB) holds two meetings each month, September through June. All Program Meetings are open to the public. Business Meetings are for members and potential members. Several special award and fundraising events occur annually to which the public is always welcome to attend.

- By attending & promoting our Fundraising events like Murder Mystery Dinner, Bunco and more…
- By joining us at Business and/or Program Meetings
- By volunteering at our annual Day of Empowerment – April 2025 (actual date TBA)
- By helping us fill our “swag” bags for our Day of Empowerment
- By sponsoring a table at our Murder Mystery Fundraiser – March 2025 (actual date TBA)
- By inviting us to speak to your organization about Soroptimist and what we do
- By providing us with gift cards to local restaurants and stores
- By donating – anytime
SI Huntington Beach’s strong, growing member base of dedicated women, relies on contributions from members and our community. These tax deductible contributions help us sustain and increase our level of commitment to our “Dream” programs and other nonprofits with similar objectives.
Your contributions will help us:
- Increase the number of women who receive cash, Live Your Dream Awards
- Expand the number of women who attend our Woman’s Day of Empowerment in partnership with the Huntington Beach Assistance League
- Continue our Dream It Be It Program at Higher Ground OC and in partnership with Soroptimist International Newport Harbor Area designed to assist pre-teen and teenage girls (13-18) who face obstacles to success in shaping their futures
- Donate more and expand the number of local and international charitable organizations that help improve the lives of women and girls that we support
- Fight Human Trafficking in Southern California
